Another unwelcome turf sprint stop on the P6 line. Moon Struck Nemi is another of the individual horses that has made this a very good meet for me, when winning at nearly 14-1. He's also Ronny Werner's lone success at the stand. Not sure if he can repeat while moving up, but he's worth including. Angel Penna is winless with 6 starters at the Spa, a situation that Dominant Currency could rectify here. Tough, tough group to separate..

Maria's Own just went from 5/2 to 3/4 in one flash in the 4th. Weird....

I thought she had a chance but the inactivity off a nice win and the 2 aluminum pads again temper my enthusiasm. It's also a lot harder to be a one-run dead last closer at 5.5 on the turf at Sar than it is at 6fs at Belmont.

I don't know, Nick. I'm not completely sold on the fact that she is a one-run dead last closer. I think if she breaks well today, Solis can have her just off the first flight. From there, I think its a matter of is she good enough. If I can get her ML odds or higher at post time, I'm gonna make a win bet on her and possibly play around with her underneath a couple horses in an exacta.

She's not the worst stab on the card today if she is the right odds.

Well.. there goes the P6 at DMR! Wow.. Put in a simple $48 play for action, and the $48 winner knocks plenty of us out! Gary Young, as good a clocker/horse agent and as a big a player as there is out there, said on ATR today that it was 50-50 to carry into Thursday...

Just watched Starlight Magic's race. . . pretty interesting. Do we think she gets bet way down or are there too many horses in there to take money and keep her at double digits?

Young talked about her and the trouble. Probably comes down some, but the 1, 2, 4, 5, 8 all have appeal. Fun race.

2nd choice in the P3 Will Pay.... Getting crushed to almost co-favoritism with 6 min to post... either a bad line or the worst kept secret in the world
