What do you have to say now Jerardi ?

I wonder what Dick Jerardi has to say about the circumstances surrounding his hero and the eighth race at Parx today.

I didn't see the race -- but from looking at the chart -- it would appear as though one of the ice machines miracle equine's was stuffed in for 5K -- and broke down in the stretch (had to be humanly destroyed according to the chart) while also claimed.

It was an ugly breakdown. :( And why did they come off the turf later in the day?

I've never seen a break down that wasn't ugly.

Well this one was, especially when they show the steward's films of it later.

A similar event happened at Penn not all that long ago, by the way.

John Connor (AKA "The Terminator") -- while lacking the eye-popping win percentage -- is a training wizard with a blockbuster ROI.

He had a horse win 3 straight alw races easily going short -- he hooked Immortal Eyes (who just missed winning a Graded Stake one start prior) in a 75K stake at Charles Town.

The Terminator drops a horse in razor sharp form -- into a $4,000 claiming race.

The result wasn't so pretty according to the result chart.....

The Terminator is 9-for-27 (33% wins) with an impossibly high ROI when he jumps a horse 50% or more in claiming price at Penn. When he drops, it's buyer beware.
