Did he still have all the crazy hate speech pastors there?

If God personally calls him and Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin to be president - who fights it out in the arena?

I'm no longer voting any cult members into public office.

Do you squirt?

It was Perry's idea and was financed by the American Family Association, a Tupelo, Miss.-based group that opposes abortion and gay rights and believes that the First Amendment freedom of religion applies only to Christians. ...you mean like these guys???

the article doesn't mention the controversial pastors who were supposedly going to be there.

He seemed like a probable candidate and possibly a force but he showed his true colors today...is it just me or is the religious far right much more represented this year than usual? Perhaps it's the "Romney factor" but they seem to all be coming out of the closet (no not that one, the "God speaks only to me" one).

a lot of the religious right is looking for a candidate-they won't accept romney-because he's a nut. i don't think he's a nut-he's not the one having a big come to jesus meeting. to me, someone who shills for/with the afa is a nut. i would love to know where they get the idea that freedom of religion only applies to certain religions! or at least point that out in the constitution or other historic documents....
michelle bachman is another nut imo. then there's the pizza guy, the one who used freedom of religion as an argument against building a house of worship.
if you're religious, good for you. but keep it to your self. it's supposed to be private, not an advertisement.

when asa hutchinson dragged his wife to dc and back, because god told him to, i just shook my head. that woman didn't want to get dragged from home and family because her hubby had ambitions-but god told him to do it. yeah, god told him to run for the senate-i guess god didn't tell him it was a losing proposition....
