I have to eat a relaxed dinner and then watch some baseball and read a new book I got.

Does anyone remember Endine herself?

What a terrific mare she was ... won the Delaware Handicap twice in the late 1950's ... when it was the most important race of the year for fillies & mares.

She was a stablemate at Christiana of the great filly Tempted ... with whom she often ran as an entry ... and defeated her ... although narrowly ... in both of her Delaware Handicap wins.

Endine could be very inconsistent ... but when she put her best effort into it ... she was superb.
