Rising Cross

If anyone remembers me touting Rising Cross on here for the Beverly D and then getting embarrased by her finishing at the tail of the field, she redeemed herself a bit for me today in a Group II at York at 1 3/4 miles.

I guess that makes the Euros inferior, can't win here, but can over there??

Anyway, hope you cashed out on her...

Didnt Gorella destroy everyone in the Beverly D and isnt she technically a euro? Just because Frenchy has had her here for a year doesnt mean shes one of us.

I love the guy. he oughta be American. Chain smokes like noone you ever saw, wine and food in excess, loves to golf, loves horses. I say we adopt him even if hes (ugh) French. Biancone's a great guy.

Dont know him but I heard he is a GREAT man. And that comes from guy who tells it like it is. By the way Mike, I have a pretty good idea why he didnt do too well with his 2 year olds this year at Toga. I cant say it on a public forum and it has nothing to do with illegal juicing or any cheating. Its more personal, I will tell you next time I see you. Put it this way, it was a lot more than what tracks they trained on.

Timmy I spoke to him at the track on Sunday and he introduced me to Demi O'Byrne who was with him. It was quite an honor to meet the guy with most legendary eye for horseflesh in the world.
Patrick is a great guy. I met him through my friend Mohammed who used to manage Buckram Oak's horses before his bosses death this past winter in a car accident.
They are golf buddies and Mohammed always hustled him for cash on the course!!!
