Ron Paul > Herman Cain > the rest on the list and Obama

Coach Pants 06-13-2011 03:15 PM

I'm ready for Civil War so we can star ridding this country of your ilk.

Herman Cain hasn't yet come up with any concrete policy. So far he's nothing but simplistic empty catch phrases. What in the world do you like about him?

Antitrust32 06-13-2011 04:00 PM

I dont know... maybe because he was actually an executive in the "real world"... therefore giving him actual leadership experience in America. And he did thrived at his jobs. Also he's not a career politician, so that alone makes him more real than the majority of the candidates, especially the current Pres.

He believes the goverment's main job is to provide national security (I believe the same). He doesnt believe in big goverment or that goverment is the answer for all lifes problems. Plus he wants to get rid of income taxes and create a fair tax... 23% sales tax.

He's likeable... though I guess he could be full of crap like the majority of pol's are and like how Obama was when he was campaigning.

Coach Pants 06-13-2011 04:07 PM

National security should really mean defense and not offense. We're not securing s.hit right now. What we are doing is sexually assaulting innocent people while at the same time s.hitting all over the constitution.

Herman Cain is just the black card the RINO's are playing. It'll be the same ol' s.hit. Another lying war monger elitist puppet.

you are correct with the first paragraph.

I hope he wont be another lying war monger elitist puppet. He has a business background and knows how to make business's succeed. I really like his idea on the fair tax.. 23% on all NEW goods and services (if you buy a used car or used house, no tax)

Coach Pants 06-13-2011 04:36 PM

He's a Federal Reserve guy. Of course he's a puppet.

Well, at least you have reasons :)

And I'm going to watch the DNC head gain 2lbs in each thigh tonight. To Beonce's move!

Riot 06-13-2011 07:01 PM

Live on CNN, on the web, too.

Riot 06-13-2011 07:15 PM

Wow. This is painful.

Michelle Bachmann answered her question about how she'd fix the economy by announcing she's officially in for President.

Riot 06-13-2011 07:44 PM

Obama 2012. It's a lock. He doesn't even have to campaign. This is so sad.

Don't bank on that!

They are a bunch of anti-gay haters. They are disgusting. Ron Paul wants marriages out of government, and only done in churches. So I guess being an atheist isn't allowed in GOP world, either.

The Muslim bashing, the gay bashing, and the religious self-rightousness makes me want to puke.

Riot 06-13-2011 08:34 PM

The ticket will be Romney - Pawlenty. You can already see it in the way Pawlenty has deferred to Romney, and Romney back to Pawlenty. Pawlenty is clearly running for VP.

The rest of them are clowns that need to get out of the public eye before they further ruin the party brand.

hi_im_god 06-13-2011 08:37 PM

the state of the economy in august 2012 will have a lot more influence on the results of the election than anything else that occurs between now and then.

obama has the advantage of no intra-party challenge which means he's already tacking to the center while all the republican candidates have to tack right toward their motivated primary voters in iowa and new hampshire. no republican is getting the nomination without winning one of those.

but whomever the republican nominee is no ones going to care what nutty thing they said in june 2011 if the economy's still perceived to be in the tank.

if bachman wins iowa (a reasonable possibility) i think you'll see the g.o.p. establishment coalesce around romney. or whomever finishes a good second there.

bachman isn't electable in a depression and they know it. but pretty much any white male could beat obama if august 2012 doesn't look much better than june 2011.

Romney is skipping Iowa and going straight to NH. Bachmann will be there, Santorum, Cain, Paul, Gingrich.

Good point about the economy, but the financial plan of all of them tonight was cut corporate taxes to zero. Period. They all would have done no stimulus or TARP whatsoever, and let the auto companies go bankrupt. Then they bashed unions in another question.

They all just gave Michigan to Obama.

The audience looked to be completely asleep until the red meat social fireworks started.

I'm really interested in what the GOP can come up with for a platform this year. I don't know if they'll have a candidate that could match it.
