It's an amusement park.

Yes, it's a nice place to go. There are a number of comfortable places to sit, the paddock is very accessible and the casino is not the first thing you run into when you go through the front door. You'll certainly enjoy the day there.

Louisiana Downs is always great place for races. NTamm commented on easy paddock access, track apron is very accomodating with ample free bench seating, lots of free seating on 2nd floor (aka grandstand), and lots of good eats.

And tomorrow features long-time crowd pleaser, Weiner Dog Races! These are absolutely hilarious event.

And he has me blocked.
