Ray Lewis And Crime

No, its not a synonym contest. It's what happens with no football? Keep it real Ray.

"Do this research. If we don't have a season—watch how much evil, which we call crime, watch how much crime picks up, if you take away our game," Lewis said to the network.

football players will have to resort to crime?

and Ray Lewis reporting on crime is a big LOL moment.

He's talking about the entourages of some athletes. Remember that they get paid by the player and in turn some of them help provide for their family and friends.

Drugs will be involved, of course.

Ray is just being honest.

Hey you cant commit any crimes if you are watching football at 1pm, 4pm and 830pm.

He really must not think very highly of the people he was referring to.

It's just another service the NFL provides their fans that they care so much about.

Lower crime rate for 40 or so days a year.

Thank you NFL. You are the best.

Crime rates go down more for cold weather outbreaks and snow than anything else.

MISTERGEE 05-24-2011 02:02 PM

I think he was talking about the fans without football

Let's take beautiful Michigan as example A. Trust me, the Lions playing isn't impacting anything Ray....but

When the temperature drops here in mid-Michigan so do the number of crimes that occur.

Police in both Lansing and East Lansing say the number of calls coming in have decreased as well as the number of actual crimes.

Home invasion is one type of crime that Lansing police see less of during the months of December, January and February. The snow is too deep and the temperature is too cold.

Car larceny also dips down a bit despite all the people who leave their cars running but by early April, crime will be on the rise along with the temperature.

In East Lansing, Captain Juli Liebler says noise disturbance calls and disorderly complaints decrease during the winter months. The busiest time for the East Lansing Police Department is in the fall when students return to campus.
