At the moment of climax.....

..... are you loud?

Do you scream, "... ooooh, that's it! Faster! Faster! Keep going! YeeeEEESSSSSS!!! YES!!!"

Or are you the quiet type?

Just wondering how all of you act when you're watching a race and your horse wins. :D

I can get very loud. Oh and that goes for watching races too. :p

How about you???

Ok..I'm sometimes quiet, but at other times loud.
It depends on how long the race, how long the odds.
I like to go long.

Well, I'm kind of a varied guy. Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet.
Heck, if I was within twenty minutes of So Cal, I'd be over to your place.
Then you'd know the answer.
It's kind of like, I can't tell you, but I can show you.
Are you coming to NY anytime?

GPK 09-07-2006 07:01 PM

I can normally be heard screaming....

"WHOS YOUR DADDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!"

then I begin to snap my fingers and pray for my horse to win:D

Kev,
I can just picture that intamacy.
Does she gets a little annoyed by the finger snapping, the screaming, or when it's over and you don't cuddle nearly enough?
Think about putting it on youtube and name it "wild bedroom", or "WHOS
YOUR DADDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!"
LOL!

Wayne....true story...I kid you not.
Arlington Million day was on Aug. 12th, which was also the closing day for Colonial Downs. My girlfriend saw it fit that she take me up there so we could see some live racing. Well...of course English Channel was racing and about 5mtp for the Million, she looks and me and asks if I am gonna be acting crazy...snapping my fingers...yelling and the TV....smacking my leg...

I answered "of course"

She then stood up....turned around...bent over a touch and says "Smack my ass instead of your leg so at least I can enjoy this race too!!!!"

I sh*t you not....I almost started crying from laughing so hard.

You lucky SOB :) . I cant even find a chick in this town that likes horse racing, let alone one that will let me smack her ass over it...

anticipation....quiet excitement...fingernails digging into the palms of my hands...moans when things don't go as planned....catching my breath to stifle a scream when they do....
a sigh of relief when the photo goes my way...and a big smile for the my horses

I'm practicing abstinence until the Breeder's Cup, then I'll let it explode, when I nail the pick 6!

Ooooh some good answers..... love this one.

* * *

Okay now that a few have answered (and someone I wanted to didn't, as usual :p ) let's move on.....

What kind of behavior irritates you at the track / OTB?

You know what i really hate? Going up to the window and having one of those people in front of me who doesn't have a clue and starts to chit chat like some of us have all ******* day!

What's even worse though are the guys (sexist, i know, but it's always the old guys) who yell for the jockey the whole time (JONNNNEEEE, C'MON JONNNNEEEE), call the poor horse by their number (should be illegal. "C'mon TWO! C'mon TWO." Oh shut the hell up. He has a name, you imbecile.) , praise the jock when they win and call the horse a nag, etc., if they lose. Want to smack those types!

(Guess we shouldn't mention that we often do the voices of the horses during the races, huh Happy T and Gallant? I wonder if that bothers anyone...).

What irritates you?

Best... thread... ever...

What I don't understand is, why, after all my crying and shrieking and cheering, after I let them in, get vulnerable, maybe even let myself care more than I intended...

... why don't any of them call me the next day? I mean, I know they're horses and all, but come on!

well dear it's like this...a good horse is in demand...and wants to maximize his chance to have many youngsters to carry on his good name on the track....he'll call on you again in 21-28 days if you don't get in foal.

which is why I recommed low level claimer that haven't been gelded yet...if you decide to keep him you can always geld him yourself later.;)
