Evening Jewel retired
 

Sure had a lot of fun following her. I'm sad to see her retire - I'd hoped she'd bounce back - but if she isn't racing any more I'm glad she's staying in the USA.

They would have continued on with her but Mrs. Braly had too attractive an offer from M/M Jones.

I was crazy about her, and while the agonizing beat in the '10 Oaks will be hard to forget, she had several great moments.

As versatile a filly as you'll ever see. I know my Cali friends will be devastated by this announcement.

Well, could be worse.

The good side of this is she's healthy and will stay in the states. I'm thankful for that. I wish her well at her new home and with her future little ones.
