NOOOOOO! :(

Damn.

justindew 05-03-2011 08:20 AM

What an oddly-written article.

The curse of the Wood Memorial strikes again?

justindew 05-03-2011 08:34 AM

This puts Derby Kitten in, and make Sway Away next in line. I'll use Sway Away if he gets in.

Sightseek 05-03-2011 08:35 AM

Bummer. :(

I have a couple friends who are convinced Animal Kingdom is Motion's better prospect anyway.

What an awful year for 3YO's.

Who's likely to get the mount on Derby Kitten?

Lovely Laurel 05-03-2011 09:22 AM

Keep training away from CD, Graham. Nothing like a NY Times mush cover.

Geez-oh-flip! So much drama with this Derby.

Anyone who cashes a good ticket Saturday, consider yourself lucky.

Actually she meant to say Motion should stick to training grass types because he doesnt know how to train for the dirt..These people crack me up..lol

gamblin4ever 05-03-2011 09:56 AM

I feel bad for the connections.

outofthebox 05-03-2011 10:04 AM

Heartbreaking for the connections. Which is why Repole commented last week about 50-50 to get to the race. So many things can happen so quickly in this game..hope it's minor and we will see Toby back in training soon...

Same here. I really like this horse, and want to see him return.

Then which was it specifically.....did he get hurt because he was training away from Churchill or because there was a NY Times cover story about Graham Motion?

It's important to know, as in the future, trainers will need to know which to avoid.

Oh, welcome NYRA flunky. I didn't think you cared about life or racing beyond the Belt Parkway. Other than the 7 weeks up state.
