Zenyatta! It is not the thread you think it will be.

So I am traveling for business in St. Paul, MN when I finally found out that Zenyatta actually was good for the sport. I go to this awful strip club where I wind up having an excellent conversation with one of the gals working there about racing. Turns out she became a fan because of Zenyatta and now wagers regularly on the races. I was shocked, assumed she was lying until she recounted her handicapping of the Florida Derby and how she lost $ earlier that afternoon.

If nothing else it is good to know that even more of my money is pouring through the race tracks, even if it is second hand...

It's called the trickle down theory.

I don't know that there needs to be any kind of trickle at a strip club.

Antitrust32 04-05-2011 03:04 PM

Because when some chick has her taters in my face, the first thing I think to ask her is "do you follow the Triple Crown Trail?"

knickslions2 04-05-2011 03:53 PM

Did she ask if you were hung like Blame?

I try to keep my conversation geared toward things I like when visiting a club. You can only talk about nursing school/her kids for so long before it gets old.

This particular club makes you check your phone at the door. No pictures. Not sure they would come out all that well. The stage area is protected by plexi-glass!

slotdirt 04-05-2011 05:35 PM

The stage was protected with plexiglass? Are you sure you weren't at a gas station or papal visit?
