A really nice article about a great horse.

Notice how all those top horses were running against each other all year long? Not just on BC day.

glad i got to see him about 7 or 8 times.......the eighties were the best.

I worked for Joe and Mr. VanBerg when I was with Dr. Reed and Allen's practice at Belmont.

Joe id just the nicest person, great horsman and I learned a lot from him.

Later on when I was state vet for NJRC, I checked Alysheba every time he came to race in NJ. What an impressive horse he was.
