Not sure so called liberals are to blame, Mexican drug lords are to blame. I think border agents should be armed to the teeth and if fired upon be able to not only defend themselves but possess the ability to wipe out the aggressors. Immigration is one topic, lawless drug cartels are another!

Well then, we agree. My issue was that the slain agent in question was not permitted to act with deadly force -- which is why he died.

Seems a bit more complicated than that - the other two guys with him used live ammo and fired that, according to the article.

My issue is that the Cartels got their weapons from the ATF with the blessing of the Justice Dept. This should be a big story. Bean bags or no bean bags, arming the Cartels wasn't going to end well. Arm the Cartels and disarm law abiding Americans. We have some real geniuses running this country.
