Obama names new press secretary

Jay Carney

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...012802497.html

"Carney, who has served the past two years as Vice President Biden's communications director...."

I got a chuckle out of that.

Interesting. Speaking of people leaving the administration, Princess....the Iowa caucuses are now just a little over a year away. I seem to remember you adamantly sticking by your bizarre prediction that Hillary would challenge Obama for the Democratic nomination in 2012.

At what point do you think she will announce and/or begin to put together her campaign. If she is planning on running against him a year from now....isn't she going to need to leave the administration pretty soon?

Patience! There's plenty of time.

Obama opening up his re-election HQ's nearly 2 years in advance of the election? Hmmmmmm! Must be afraid of something.

But, to get back to the topic at hand, good luck to Jay Carney. Love that last name. Hope he doesn't turn out to be another Chuckles the Clown.

Maybe Obama is going to start his campaign of lies early because of what just in the November elections?

Who "got in" during the November elections better get their act together, fast: they were elected to put a "laser-like focus" (their words) on jobs and the economy; but have already defaulted to culture war as job one.

they're all ramping up for the next election. it's called money, and the candidates need lots of it.

there's no such thing as hurry up in washington. obama claimed upon election that the economy was his first priority. he promptly began work on health care instead. two years later, the economy is still sputtering along. it'll be interesting if he starts pointing fingers at the opposition, since the last two years the dems had the numbers to push thru some real, effective, legislation to help. two wasted years by the govt, but i'm sure it's all the fault of the obstinate republicans.

Obama is going to blame the Republicans? Hmmmm that is a new one on me. Obviously healthcare was his priority vice unemployment and the economy. Just another one of his lies. In Obama's eyes it is always the Republicans fault.
