The State of the Union

Republicans and Democrats sitting together will show:
a) unity and the ability to work together across partisan divides
b) who is unpopular and could not find a date (Pelosi turned down Cantor)
c) which of the new 42 Congressmen sleeping in their offices haven't yet figured out how to shower daily (zone of empty chairs around them)
d) it's a deliberate plot by the Democrats to dilute the television impact of the GOP, by preventing the GOP from standing and applauding - or not - as a group.

Michelle Bachmann's Reply to the State Of The Union:
a) she's gone rogue! She's running for President, and the GOP old guard is too afraid of the Tea Party to tell her to shut up and sit down.
b) will probably be better than Paul Ryan's "official" response
c) will get more media coverage than Paul Ryan's response
d) will be intellectually unique as usual

Pick which Supremes will not show:
a) Samuel Alito
b) Antonin Scalia
c) Clarence Thomas
d) all of the above

How many times will John Boehner cry?
a) none
b) two
c) six

Carry on ...

Nascar1966 01-25-2011 06:58 PM

When Obama comes on I will be getting some quality TVG and Food Network time.

dellinger63 01-25-2011 07:01 PM

Glad to hear about lazy citizens deciding to take themselves out of any discussion of what he says, due to self-imposed ignorance.

FYI Much like we don't rush to sign up for that free-vacation in paradise for a few hours of our time!

OldDog 01-25-2011 08:36 PM

Biden is going to have a sore neck from all that nodding.

dellinger63 01-25-2011 08:44 PM

this is a train wreck. the most important person of a student is the parent, we need more good teachers, need to fix our failing schools, value teachers like they do in Korea and have the best Universities in the world. Universities foreigners come for. Then we need to address kicking them out to compete against us is cause for illegal reform? I'm dizzy. High speed rail so you don't get patted down by us. Done!

Like we didn't already all know that whatever Obama says doesn't matter to you. He never had a chance with you based upon his skin color. You continue to make a fool of yourself and are too ignorant to even realize it...

Dude.. Read closely... You calling me a racist based upon what? Simply throwing the same thing back that everyone thows at you without any evidence as to why shows that you have the mental capacity of a 5 year old. No one buys it.

dellinger63 01-26-2011 10:16 AM

Obama's best quote was, "That responsibility begins not in our classrooms, but in our homes and communities. It’s family that first instills the love of learning in a child. Only parents can make sure the TV is turned off and homework gets done. We need to teach our kids that it’s not just the winner of the Super Bowl who deserves to be celebrated, but the winner of the science fair; that success is not a function of fame or PR, but of hard work and discipline."

I'd propose instead of 100,000 new teachers and the 100,000 pensions and health insurance policies that come with it we need to deal first with the parents.

How about a $100 fine per failing grade. Then distribute the fines among schools showing the most improvement as a reward. Of course those parents unable to pay could work it off at whatever school their child attends. Let's give that a try first since the cost to the taxpayer is zero and the benefits in either fines, work credits and ultimately passing grades are huge! Not to mention the side benefit of, in many cases, getting the parent(s) back involved in the child's life.

Your the one bringing up race, not me. What does watching the Food Network have to with skin color. Did you forget saying that or did you already delete it? I dont buy your worthless BS either. At least I dont have the mental capacity of a one year old like you do.
