KEE JAN: Final sale results solid, encouraging..

From TDN:

Hip 125: Negligee (Northern Afleet) returned to the site of her greatest triumph--the 2009 GI Darley Acibiades S.--and once again turned heads. The four-year-old broodmare prospect, offered by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, Agent, was knocked down for $625,000 to Hunter Valley Farm acting on behalf of an undisclosed client.

Did you catch the latest Jamgotchian firestorm related to her sale? He was upset because KEE wouldn't play the video of the Clement Hirsch.

Or the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint?

Who would pay 210k for her? Breed her to that teaser horse I read about in Texas.

In most cases, Ridglings are infertile. If that's the reason he was purchased - it's a hell of a long shot that someone would not only take a decent mare to him, but that he'd actually be able to pull it off.

Even taking into consideration that breeding crappy horses to crappy mares is a NY tradition.
