The four-year-old broodmare prospect, offered by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, Agent, was knocked down for $625,000 to Hunter Valley Farm acting on behalf of an undisclosed client.

The recently turned three-year-old, offered by Three Chimneys Sales, Agent, was secured by Katsumi Yoshida.

In most cases, Ridglings are infertile. If that's the reason he was purchased - it's a hell of a long shot that someone would not only take a decent mare to him, but that he'd actually be able to pull it off.

Even taking into consideration that breeding crappy horses to crappy mares is a NY tradition.
