Newspaper article about upcoming Buffy lecture series
 

Here is a link to the News Record (Greensboro, NC) website with a well-written article discussing the upcoming year-long
lecture series to be held on the campus of UNCG starting September 6th. The article explains the academic interest in the show and why it was the best show to ever air on TV. Wilcox and other noted academics will be participating in this series, part of which will be watching selected episodes and discussing aspects of same. This is open to the public as well...wish I lived close enough to attend! I want to make it someday to the annual Slayage Conference where academic papers on Buffy are submitted and reviewed from all over the world. Disciplines involved include mathmatics, physics, sociology, philosophy, history, literature and creative writing.
