Mike Chambers
I haven't been playing the races much for a while so excuse me if this has been discussed.
I started looking at the TUP card for today (Tue, 12-14-10) and nearly schittt myself when I noticed the win percentage of Mike Chambers (40 24-8-4 = 60%). Is it me or is the drug issue becoming worse? Can anyone possibly believe this guy is winning at 60% legally? I know there is probably a reason but for the life of me I cannot understand how guys like this aren't caught and tossed from the game. Mind boggling! |
he is a master shoeman and tongue tie applier
|
Is he training for one or a small group of rich owners that are in it primarily to win at all costs?
It's possible, and is happening in more places than not. |

his previous years are pretty close. Here is an old article about a medication violation ( clenbuterol ) suspension he received http://www.seattlepi.com/othersports/370563_hoss12.html |
I was at TUP on Sunday Dec 5th while visitng the in-laws and son. We all went to the track and Chambers only had 2 horses entered that day. Both won comfortably and were pathetic odds. I noticed the win percentage in my BRIS form. Both horses were standouts regardless of the trainer but still was pretty amazing to see the numbers he had put up.

I wonder if the vast majority of his stable is made up with horses from that circuit and he's taking advantage of a sizeable class edge. There's a couple of other SoCal trainers that run frequently at TuP and the difference in their stats between the two circuits is quite substantial. |
when he was on fire here at EMD, he took the Sheik's rejects for which some owners bought super cheap and won everything in sight
|
I read that he has been suspended many times and that everywhere he goes, most people suspect he is cheating.
Another floating log in the cesspool that is horse racing. |

The difference between slander and libel is that libel is the written or otherwise published, public defamation of a person or entity such as an organization or company, while slander is the spoken false defamation of a person or entity. Slander can also include bodily gestures while libel can include published photographs. Defamation is any wrongful injury to the reputation of a person or entity. |
noted....you should reference the web page where you got the info on that.
