Boise St./Nevada

One of the craziest end of regulation's I have ever seen. How does Nevada let that recpetion happen...and how does that kicker miss that?

Dahoss 11-27-2010 12:50 AM

That kicker might need a security guard around campus if they lose.

TitanSooner 11-27-2010 01:02 AM

it's all that Dan Marino's fault..

Incredible game. Boise has provided some of the best football games I have ever witnessed. All the naysayers are going to say "they suck, they lost to Nevada"... well Nevada is a damn good football team.

I'll be quick and not long winded. Boise State has a great football program. Congrats to Nevada for finally taking them.

They'll never get any respect because the one time they truly earned it the god-damned rb asked the cheerleader to marry him.

That was a horrible moment in sports.

Still am not positive the kicker missed the end of regulation field goal.

I thought it was good, too, even on the replay.

slotdirt 11-29-2010 11:42 AM

Someone needs to buy Nevada some new goal posts.

Hilarious. Boise joins the Mountain West and the only 3 good football schools...Utah, BYU and TCU all leave. So much for the plan to upgrade your conference affiliation. So is everything east of the Rockies considered east now? TCU and the Big East is a strange fit.

of course, ask zenyatta supporters. they think everything east of cali/oregon/washington is Big East territory.

Boise needs to get into a BCS conference. They should have joined the Pac 12 instead of Colorado.

The problem is boise doesnt have strong enough programs or enough money to be a Pac-10 school. They can only compete in football.

They are terrible in basketball... but I think Colorado is even worse

But Colorado is a relatively well off school. BSU's athletic budget for 2010 is around 25 million. That is 5 million less than Washington State which is the lowest in the Pac 10 and struggles to compete across the board at that level.

At AZ the Womans basketball coach makes 400k a year despite not being a top program and losing a ton of money every year.
