Sarah Palin's top advisor on George Soros payroll

This is simply too funny. I'm sure this will make Glen Becks ranting puppets spin until their heads fly off :D

Or Beck will ignore this, like he ignores that Fox's biggest shareholder, other than Rupert, is a foreign Muslim.

Quote:

Glenn Beck spent the past week denouncing the liberal billionaire and philanthropist George Soros as a "puppet master" who is orchestrating a coup "to bring America to her knees."

Given Soros' alleged role plotting to destroy the United States, Beck and his Fox viewership might be surprised to learn that one of Sarah Palin's top aides has been on Soros' payroll for years.

That would be Republican lobbyist Randy Scheunemann, Palin's foreign policy adviser and a member of her small inner circle. He runs a Washington, D.C., consulting firm called Orion Strategies. Scheunemann and a partner have since 2003 been paid over $150,000 by one of Soros' organizations for lobbying work, according to federal disclosure forms reviewed by Salon. The lobbying, which has continued to the present, centers on legislation involving sanctions and democracy promotion in Burma.

Oooooh, wait a minute ... this be part of Soro's plot to destroy our country - get his puppet elected to an important national office!

A lobbyist takes money from one of the (if not the largest) providers of special interest money and this is somehow a story?

Riot 11-12-2010 12:38 PM

Naw - the story is watching the schizophrenia develop in the Beck-Palin-Hannity crowd, as Beck draws his little, "follow the money-connect-the-dot" lines on his chalkboard

Cannon Shell 11-12-2010 12:42 PM

So the story isnt really a story after all?

Riot 11-12-2010 01:36 PM

Caribou Barbies' foreign policy advisor works for George Soros. Yeah. That's a bit of a story. Even more so as the filing deadline for President 2012 approaches, and Faux News employee Palin tries to decide how to remain a rock star and earn tons of money without really working or having any marketable skills :tro:

As the article points out (regarding Becks most recent outrageous behaviour):

Quote:

In the course of Beck's three-day look at Soros' network of organizations and his links to Democratic politicians, the fact that a top aide to a likely GOP presidential candidate has been retained by a Soros outfit did not come up.

Love how she comes out of hiding... doesnt say a word about the historical election landslide.. and brings this stuff out of the wood work!

But, I'm not being mean any more.

Hi Riot, hope you had a good time at the BC. Was a crazy Friday and exciting Saturday.

No hiding - just busy working ;) Had a wonderful time at the BC for the entire week, thanks! A group of us, we had a local house, backstretch mornings, track in the afternoon, and the BC of course - will never get to do that again in this lifetime!

"Historic election landslide" ? It was great for the GOP, but it wasn't all that "historic" - it was the smallest winning margin in the past three turnovers of Congress, and the first where the party couldn't win the Senate, too.

But between the GOP and the Tea Baggers already flip-flopping on their election promises, and the infighting developing on the right; and the Dems still not apparently growing any balls, I'm sure the run-up to 2012 will be a never-ending source of entertainment :)

wasnt it the largest pick up in the house since 1942 or something historic like that? over 60 seats is a landslide.

They picked up a lot of senate seats also, considering only 37 were up for grabs. would have got two more, and harry R out of there if stupid religious people werent picked in DE and NV.

glad you had a good time.. was an exciting two days of races. Who were you most impressed with? Have to say Uncle Mo & Goldikova for me.

Ditto. Good choices you picked there. Goldikova is just this plain little thing until she runs!

Zenyatta in-person was very impressive though-awesome-looking mare. Wish they would just keep running that one, trying different things with her - even turf.

Zenyatta may be up there with the best all time fillies & mares. it would have been fun seeing her take on boys more often.. she seems to run really well on dirt. Agree on turf also. A few losses against top competition only hurts her legacy in the mind of her owners, and californians for some reason.

She would have won her fair share. Wish I would have appreciated her more... outstanding, beautiful mare. And she has the best intro in sports!
