Does anyone know the status of this Darley colt? He was there choice for the TC but he broke a bone. How is his recovery comming and do they have any plans fr him this year?

He is in my Equibase virtual stable and still no works.

Its quite a long time frame between the time a break or fracture of any magnitude is discovered and the time thy make it back to the track. A year is not unusual, often longer than that.

I don't remember him breaking a bone? A few months ago, there was a blurb in the DRF and Eoin Harty was quoted as saying he'd get the colt back in a month...........since then, nothing.

That is an unlucky family. His full sister, Tempera (who was a big favorite of mine), died and now this guy will very likely never live up to his potential due to injury. Another sister, Classicism, injured herself in her first and only start in Europe (rough trip I remember) and that was all she wrote for her.

Small ankle fracture if I remember right.
