You have %50 chance of guessing right as to which party I voted for. If you read my past posts that should tell you how I voted.

Before you vote, you might check out what just happened in England. The Tea Bagger - ultra-conservative dream.

If we could just do what the Dem run Government believes in and 'spend to avoid going bankrupt' :zz:

When the ship is steered and run by non-paying passengers inevitably it goes off course and reeks like urine and garbage, similar to a section 8 apartment complex.

Well, the GOP is going to get it's chance to put it's money were it's mouth is immediately in the Congress, as soon as they get seated in January.

First thing up: they will have to vote to enlarge the ceiling on the national debt upwards, or have us default and stop borrowing.

Will be fun to watch what they do regarding their "no spending" promises, as they've all promised not to enlarge this ceiling. This means the US will be in default.

Nice financial disaster they plan to put us into in a few months. Unless, of course, they vote with their heads, and not political catch phrases. We'll see.

Well I'm sure Bank of China will put us in a loan modification or forbearance program.

.

Not quite, first thing up will be ending the crack whore like, mindless spending spree this Pres. w/no business experience much less success has put us on. Tons and Tons of money out there. As well as the health care fraud, needless regulation after regulation and paying people to ruin their property for a coupon on the rest of us. ('Us' being those that contribute and not take)

God Bless America

Even if they get both houses, they won't have the votes to override a veto. I'd personally like to see them get both, but exepct the house to go rep and the senate to be 50-50. The spending has to stop regardless, unless they want us to be run farther and farther into the ground.

Oh, almost everybody takes from somebody. Meg n' Fiorina took $ from people doing the real work, and the Gov't takes back what it can. If people were paid fairly, we wouldn't need much Gov't at all. GOP has the power to put the Dems out of business real quickly, but they don't want to give up pay inequity.

SCUDSBROTHER 10-28-2010 11:56 PM

Gunna have to cut spending, and get rid of the Bush tax cuts that created a lot of the debt we have. Fact is if ya didn't give the Megs n' Fiorinas so damn much dough, you could fund decent retirement packages, and a lot of people could forego Social Security, or get reduced benefits. To pay these sows all this money is even more retarded than having our debt keep going up. Your not gunna be able to get rid of Social Security, because businesses have cut pensions drastically (to pay Meg etc...so she can piss away 150 mil losing while on an ego field trip.)

It wasn't the Tax cuts that created the debt, it was the insane spending. The Govt. took in massive revenues they just blew it.

It was both. Got to be a lil slow to have a war, n' cut taxes (to not pay for it.)

dellinger63 10-29-2010 08:06 AM

Dems need to learn there is no magic in economics. A dollar given away does not come back as $1.80. It's lucky to stay in circulation and not be given to some drug dealer or prostitute.

SOREHOOF 10-29-2010 03:00 PM

If the Govt. really wants to increase revenue, raising taxes on anyone would be extremely counter productive. History bears this out repeatedly.
