Frankel!

How good is this guy?

Galileo's Frankel Fantastic In the Dewhurst
Posted: 10:04 AM ET
14.25 at NMT G1 Dubai Dewhurst S. [7f (T)] Winner: Frankel (GB), c, 2 by Galileo (Ire)

FRANKEL (GB), c, 2, by Galileo (Ire)--Kind (Ire), by Danehill.
O-Khalid Abdullah; B-Juddmonte Farms; T-Henry Cecil; J-Tom Queally. Lifetime Record: 4-4-0-0, £266,473.
Fresh from his 10-length mauling of the opposition in the G2 Royal Lodge S. at Ascot last month, Frankel put a three-race unbeaten record and a huge reputation on the line in the G1 Dewhurst S. at Newmarket, and the 4-6 chalk came away with both intact. Moving up readily from the rear to tackle early leader Roderic O'Connor (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) inside the quarter pole, the bay homebred strode clear up the hill under a hand ride to best that rival by 2 1/4 lengths, with Glor Na Mara (Ire) (Leroidesanimaux {Brz}) sticking to his task 2 3/4 lengths further back. Winning jockey Tom Queally grinned, "He's a superstar and he's done it when it mattered."

It is a shame, in a selfish way, that they are too smart to send Frankel here now. Maybe next year.
Edit-I have watched this race 6 times just to be sure. He is good.

Frankel will be racing April 30th in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket.

Wow! I love the way Frankel moves after he takes the lead in the stretch! This horse could be "one of the ones".
