BELMONT TURF SATURDAY

Andy tweeted earlier that 5th & 10th are OFF the turf; Rest stay ON the turf with 1st moving from Widener to the Inner Course..

Guess the steady 40 mph wind gusts today weren't enough to dry the courses. And the spring BEL meet is just around the corner.:rolleyes: So, it makes sense to save the courses as much as possible. Wouldn't want them being too soft for the spring/summer. After all, it's not like overly hard courses tend to be biased. :rolleyes:

It's cool but windy and hasnt rained in the better part of 24 hours.I hate to say it but this seems like a crappy decision. Fatty makes a decent point, move the rails and run the races as scheduled! This cant be a safety issue can it?
