Canani & Calabrese--Now What?

C & C have brought 40 horses from Arlington to run at CRC the track I play the most and am the most familiar with. Should I:
a) throw them all out of each play
b) include them in every play
c) try handicapping each one individually
d) quit playing at CRC
e) give me a better idea please

Coach Pants 10-07-2010 06:47 PM

d.

Wait to see how they start off?

Either way, handicap them individually obviously. . .

They are certainly an operation that you have to get a feel for. Their horses NEVER need a race if they are well meant, and the toteboard will tell you alot of what you need to know, especially at Calder where their opening pools are even less then Arlington.

I felt the last couple months at Arlington most of their horses ran like crap, this had alot to do with them getting busted for cheating, in my opinion. I also think this is why they moved to Florida early, ole Frank loves the paddock, but all the whispering and quiet taunts about cheating got to him.

they entered 3 today, one won and was claimed at 3-1 and the two others were scratched at the gate late

I am not sure I had ever seen that out of one of their runners.

Must be the inability to get their horses to feel nothing.

MISTERGEE 10-07-2010 07:39 PM

one was in the gate and went nuts, the other was scratched witha couple minutes to post. I think all three of todays were claimed at AP and then dropped. I see Canani is still at 36% winners

Play against next time out. And those gate scratches are strange

If they wait and run at GP, then play it.... if at CRC... bet against.

All I could think of when I read this thread:

The Biltmore garage wants a grand

But we ain't got a grand on hand.

And they now got a lock on the door

To the gym at P.S. 84.

There's the stock room behind the McCloskey's bar.

But Mrs. McCloskey ain't a good scout.

And things being how they are

The back of the police station is out!

So the Biltmore garage is the spot.

But the one thousand bucks we ain't got.

Why it's good old reliable Nathan!

Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, Detroit!

If you're looking for action, his firm is the spot.

Even when the heat is on, it's never too hot.

Not for good old reliable Nathan!

Where it's always just a short walk

To the oldest established, permanent floating,

Crap game in New York

There are well-heeled shooters everywhere, everywhere

There are well-heeled shooters everywhere.

And an awful lot of lettuce

For the fella who can get us there.

If we only had a lousy little grand

We could be a millionaire!

That's good old reliable Nathan!

Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, Detroit!

If the size of your bundle you want to increase

He'll arrange that you go broke in quiet and peace

In a hideout provided by Nathan

Where there are no neighbors to squawk.

It's the oldest established permanent floating

Crap game in New York.

Where's the action? Where's the game?

Gotta have the game

Of we'll die from shame.

It's the oldest established, permanent floating

Crap game in New York!

On a related note it's great to see Catman doing well in the big leagues with 5 entered at Keeneland today and another 6 entered for tomorrow.

Oh yeah. Where IS She be Wild these days? Will she be at Keeneland?

MISTERGEE 10-31-2010 05:05 PM

looks like the horses trained in Canani name last few days have been scratched. I think because of a positive result from Arlington showing up now. Horses at CRC now trained in the name of Luis Ramirez??

Its because he started his suspension today and they couldn't be entered under his name. You will see them under Ron Faucheux now.
