Questions on the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe this Sat.

I'm a little out of the loop when it comes to European Racing. So bear with me if these questions come off as stupid.

Is the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe this Sat?
If so anybody know what time?
Can I watch it on T.V. on any particular channel?
Also what are the other major european races to watch on Sat?

Thank you

It's on Sunday and I would guess at least on of the racing networks are showing it. I know we are simulcasting the Arc and other races. Post time is probably in the 11:30 range.

There are 7 Group 1s that day, with the Prix de la Foret being moved to Arc Day this year. That race is at 7F features Goldikova. The Prix de L'Opera, for F&M at 1 1/4, is usually a really good race.

1. Sunday!
2. 10:05am (ET)
3. HRTV
4. 7 G1 on Sunday

Thank you so much for the help Blackthroated.

You say "we" are simulcasting the Arch, who is "we". I appologize if this sounds ignorant but I don't know you're background. When you say "we" do you work for ExpressBet or HRTV or TVG. I would love to watch your simulcasting of the race if you let me know:)

One more question:

Who are the major European horses to watch?

You say Goldikova is racing, who else? Rip Van Winkle? Any Europeans that I should be keeping my eye on?

Thanks

GLOBEFORM ARC BIOS (at Handicapper's Edge on Brisnet)

Goldi is a doubtful runner as the ground is very soft there at the moment with more on the way over the weekend. The Foret used to be a mish mosh of a race with no real star quality but it has enjoyed a resurgence with Paco Boy and Goldi competitng in it over the past 2 years. If Goldi stands her ground, they are all set for their 3rd meeting this year over a trip that would favour Paco.

Interestingly Goldi's younger sister (by Galileo) is likely to be in the juvi fillies G1 earlier on the card.

The Arc should be the usual belter that it is. I think this year, it is so open (well if you take the opinion that Behkabad isnt the next Aga superstar!)and with it almost certainly going to be run at a decent clip and in heavy ground, anything could win...
