Unfortunately, although it sounds likely, that headline is NOT from The Onion

Segways are very dangerous... The campus cops at the university I work at have Segways. One night an officer was chasing a drunken vandal across a sloped lawn on campus when the Segway slipped out from under him. He fell, his foot got tangled up on the Segway and he ended up with a broken femur.

Segway/drunk student: 1
Campus cop: 0

Should have just shot him. That seems to be the new trend at universities.

Shoot the student or the cop? Campus cop with a broken leg is about as useful as a horse with a broken leg so yeah, you're right, they should have just shot Officer Ray ;)

Didn't you know that is one of the new options available in Obamacare? Especially if Officer Ray is over 60.

You guys are too slow... There is a bill in congress to earmark 2.0 Billion dollars to first responders who were injured in Segway accidents.
