It was impressive. Bred to stay farther, too. Not going to see him at Churchill; too good to play games with.

For Cecil to state he's never had a better 2yr old in 40yrs is saying a lot.

Awesome. :)

Can't remember the last time I saw a winning margin that big in a European flat race.

What a nice-looking horse. He needs to continue to lay back because he can and everyone else looks like pinballs compared to him. Hope he has MANY safe trips!
Kieren Fallon was suspended for two days (October 9 and 10) for careless riding on Klammer.

Thought it looked like he tightened them up on the rail in the later stages. Of course, was busy watching the winner.

Rumours are that the 2yo half brother to Midday (by Monsun) named Midsummer Sun is just as good if not a little better than Frankel. This ofcourse is based on home work on the Newmarket gallops, but Midsummer Sun has a massive reputation without seeing a racetrack yet.

He's a bit more backward than Frankel, but we should still see him out at least once this year.

Anyone have thoughts on any of the runners?

Can he be beat?

I'll probably be struck down dead for this blasphemous comment but I think Excelebration can win this...
