So she's borderline mentally retarded and has the mental capacity of a 13 year old...yet she has become a counselor to other women.

Really?:wf

Little fishy here. She gets executed, while the others involved get life sentences? Something doesn't smell right in this case.

Does a 41 yo woman, with the mental capacity if a 13 yo form sentences like this?

"Knowing that I was part of it, of taking her family away and my participation in it, I don't think there's enough words to even begin to tell her how sorry I am," she said. "Even good people and Christian people, all people, can make a wrong decision and end up being where I'm at."

That's kinda my point

I've been going through abuse cases at work and then reading cases like this just leaves you shaking your head and sad. I'm not sure how I feel about the sentence given though...

The part that bothers me the most is making her daughter have sex with the co-conspiriator, to kill others in her family. I know she isn't to bright but that is inexcusable.

I guess you can say we are in agreement?

Antitrust32 09-23-2010 07:33 AM

She should have either been sentenced to life like the others.. or the other two sentenced to death like her.

a little consistency here courts!!! are the judges also racing stewards?

We all wonder, but never know.

How can we?

If the govt is going to be in the killing business I dont know why she would be spared? What rights is she denied because of her low IQ score? She has the exact same rights as everyone else does and as a free adult in the US she made poor enough choices that she should pay for with her life if that is what the law in the state decrees. If you want to end the death penalty I have no quarrel with that stance and this case shows the fineline that the states must walk because of it. But if you are going to be given every other right that every other law abiding citizen has then the right to die for your crime should be granted as well. If you are sane enough to be greedy, you are sane enough to pay the price.

I have to agree with this......she knows the diff betwwen right and wrong. It's touchy cuz she's been ruled to have diminished capacity....but that doesnt mitigate guilt..

yep, she should have thought about the consequences before she ordered a hit on her husband and stepson.

Do those two people have the option to live anymore? nope

Though I am against people with mental retardations being given the death penalty. An autistic kid who flips out and kills someone should not be put to death. This woman just seems to be really dumb.. thats her problem.

I still cant understand her comment of "This can happen to any good person. It was a mistake" How is plotting and funding two murders a mistake that can happen to any good person?

hoovesupsideyourhead 09-24-2010 10:23 AM

sorry if i seem abit harsh but phuck her.

Coach Pants 09-24-2010 10:29 AM

I don't believe in the death penalty. It's an easy way out.

Lock them up for life and make them watch this video for 16 hours a day...
