Tea Party victories

Good news for the right-wing of the Republican Party....and probably even better news for Democrats hoping to retain the majority in the Senate:

In their defense, the state and national Republican parties have (previously at least) basically disowned O'Donnell. I find it a litle odd that Republican primary voters in the state didn't strategically vote for the candidate who would give them the best chance to eliminate Democratic control of the Senate, but I guess they just didn't think that far ahead.

They will rue the day. The Tea Party's momentum is growing exponentially. Before this is all over, the Tea Party will have "bought and paid for" the Republican Party in the same way that the radical Left George Soros organizations has taken over the Democratic Party.

Pick a side, since the polarization is assured, and moderation in these times really has no use. The Tea Party wants to reverse the excessive government spending, taxation, and inexorable debt. The Democrats appear to want to increase the spending, ignore the borrowing limit, and bankrupt the country so they can remake us into their idea of a socialist utopia.

Try to find her appearance on the Bill Maher show. This lady is great for some chuckles.

Why are you in the picture, indeed.

Well, I'm going to hell in a handbasket:o

Moderation in these times is exactly what is needed. Every Tea Party candidate that wins only helps prolong the time until the GOP gets back in power.

The GOP just definitively lost the Delaware Senate seat. Too bad, the moderate GOP candidate had a good chance of taking it. Tea Party O'Donnell has zero chance.

Congrats, Tea Party! Enjoy recalling that primary victory during the next six years of a democrat representing you in the Senate :D

Here's her old appearance on Politically Incorrect, saying lying is bad. So bad she wouldn't even lie to Hitler if he was at her door, and she was hiding desperate Jews from him. She says God would magically intervene so she wouldn't have to lie.

she's a loony.

Just shows how pissed off people are that they would elect clowns.

Paladino in NY is out there, too (will run as GOP for governor candidate against Andrew Cuomo) Google some of that ones "ideas" !

Even in staunchly conservative Christian KY, the national GOP supporting orgs are already running tons of TV ads to support Libertarian Rand Paul (Senate) They shouldn't have to - this state should be a "given" for the GOP candidate.

I'm all for the moderation of Democratic positions...

slotdirt 09-15-2010 08:28 PM

I don't care whether you agree with her positions or not, how does one vote for someone who has such a checkered past? I mean, forget the crazy statements she's made, the lady's been a professional senate candidate for the better part of five years now. How is that some sort of tea party insurgent?

Riot 09-15-2010 09:48 PM

I dunno. Ask Dick Armey?

Meanwhile, out west, Sharon Angle asked Harry Reid for a debate, he agreed, a date was chosen - and she now backed out. She also denies bringing up stuff she's publically brought up when questioned about it. Hard to deny video of her saying stuff, but she doesn't have a problem with it :tro:

I do have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed Sarah Palin running for office, Sharon Angle keeps the fun coming, but Christine O'Donnell is going to be pure comedy gold.

Conway graduated from Duke. Daffy Duck could beat him in a landslide by wearing a UK jersey and repeating "HE WENT TO DUKE!" in a debate.

Is Duke that bad? Every college has bright and not-so-bright attendees... even Harvard.

slotdirt 09-16-2010 06:22 AM

Dick Armey's group didn't support O'Donnell. She's very closely aligned with some local organization called the 9/12 Patriots, whomever they are. She also thinks beating your meat is evil.
