Is Monmouth "computer friendly"?

Thinking of going over there sometime this weekend, and was wondering if there is wifi and power anywhere so that handicappers like me who want to calculate and log with a laptop can do so?

I'd hate to just use static hardcopy since I don't do as well with the scratches that way.

NO WIFI on premises

EDIT: having been there recently, the best way to enjoy MTH is by sitting outside in the picnic area by the 1/8 pole IMO

No WIFI? Someone needs to be fired. All of these people sitting in the unemployment line and some dumb ass making over 100k is coasting in a management job with absolutely no clue on how to do it.

Thanks for the replies guys. I may go "old school" then with hardcopy, so at least I don't have to worry about the machine and can go outside regardless of weather.

FWIW I use my smartphone all the time at MP and the service is pretty good. Wifi would be nice though.

does anyone know if saratoga has wi-fi this yr please?

eajinabi 08-17-2010 02:55 PM

Why wander around looking for Wi-Fi?? Tether your phone to your laptop and there you have it.

Have you seen what Verizon charges to tether a phone to a netbook/laptop!:zz:

I have T-mobile and I have unlimited everything (calls, text, data) for 85 bucks a month. I have an Android phone and download a free app called PDAnet which easily tethers to the internet. I agree that its the best and cheapest way to go on the internet. Wi-Fi is old!
