Truce?

I really think we're in greater agreement than we realize. I'll go ahead and say I love both mares, and I don't like being backed into a corner on either. There's frustration, but there's heroine worship, too. Can we all please hug?

Sports wouldn't be fun if no one had a straight opinion

What does Rachel Alexandra have to do with anything? It's ceased being RA vs. Zen and become the Zentologists vs. reality.

for myself, this whole argument does not exist. they have their place in history and neither is better than the other. they are 2 different animals who are both captivating. i'm rooting for both to win all the time. if they race against each other i'll probably take some other horse in the race. (but i'll be rooting for them)

lets hope they retire sound and healthy and make more great babies for us to watch later.

i am happy i'm alive to enjoy them both.

amen.

If Zenyata comes east for the JCGC and the BCC in KY she's a lock for HOY,providing she wins 1 out of 2 and runs well in the other. If she wins both she's Immortal. I love Rachel but I don't trust her at a mile and a Quarter.

I stopped reading here. She's not shipping east for the JCGC.

clyde 08-09-2010 10:27 PM

Maybe she's shipping west for it?

I think they're both great. If they faced each other, I think it could go either way. I think it would depend on what track they ran at and how much pace was in the race.

RA ran some of the most freakish races I've ever seen. I don't think anyone could have beaten her on Ky Oaks day at Churchill last year.

Well try and participate and not break my word to Stevie.

I won't comment anymore.

Happy?
