Lexington Horse Farms

I am planning on attending cup this year.I am heading to Lexington ,sunday and monday.I am looking to take my family to some of the farms and was looking for info, such as any recomendations.
How long do tours take, am I better to do one of the bus tours that hit several farms ?
Thanks for any info given.

I would suggest going to the websites of Darley,Winstar and Lanes End.
Call or email them, let them know when you are coming and they will guide you from there.

Depends upon the interest level of the family :) I think the tours offer alot of advantage to the "less horsey", the tour guides know how to make it really interesting for everyone, the drive time farm to farm is filled with explanation/pointing out points of interest, etc.
