I can't believe a stallion operation standing Strong Contender and Unforgettable Max in KY is being forced into bankruptcy.

Hey, Strong Contender was a damn good horse, but was badly handled by the great one, Ward.

Easily the best son of Maria's Mon. Just not the most accomplished.

He could be a decent stallion.

i said back when this operation began that it seemed like it was going to be a tough uphill climb. not gratifying in the end to know i was right, i feel bad for the employees. but this farm has been a comedy of errors from the beginning. only thing it did right was getting mdo; and they couldn't even use that to their advantage.

yep. seems they've been so from the beginning.

the insanity continues as the banks now have to fight each other...one allowed the stallions as collateral, one allowed the mares....meaning no one gets to sell the (stonewall owned) babies until the banks work it out

what an absolute mess. i can't help but wonder just how far things really go with that farm. and they're hoping to continue in florida...i think they need to just get out of the business. you read about the various lawsuits, you read the comments from former employees. something rotten there.
