Sharron Angle Runs From Reporters At Her Own Press Conference
Those darn reporters! Tryin' to ask questions 'n' stuff at my press conference that might make me look bad!
Yes, this is gonna beat Harry Reid in November  Sharron Angle Runs From Reporters At Her Own Press Conference (VIDEO) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/0..._n_655515.html |

BTW When was the last time Obama had a open press conference. |
the hell with inferring she ran....beauty in the eye blah blah and all that.
what about this: In a radio interview Angle did in late June, the Tea Party favorite re-affirmed her pro-life sensibilities (rigid, as they are, even within Republican circles), when she insisted that a young girl raped by her father should know that "two wrongs don't make a right." Much good can come from a horrific situation like that, Angle added. Lemons can be made into lemonade. or: In an segment that has gone unnoticed since it first aired, the Tea Party-backed candidate told the Bill Manders show -- a favorable platform for Republican candidates -- that she opposed abortion even in cases of rape and incest. A pregnancy under those circumstances, she said, was "God's plan." glad i don't live in nevada! |
Danny..am I going to receive the courtesy of a reply to my pm??

That this is somekind of "story" is a joke. Another example of the media creating a story out of nothing. So if she had turned around and said,"no comment" all would have been peachy? LOL
Yeah ok. You may not like her or her views but this was hardly newsworthy. |
it really is a non-story. she apparently never takes questions. and i kind of did a double take earlier, when i read breitbart had a hand in huffingtonpost getting started.
|
i think the example of sarah palin who, after the convention, was sheltered from the media until she could implode with katie couric anyway might have taught republican's the right lesson.
when you have someone who's unelectable when they open their mouth, just keep their mouth shut. it'll be an interesting campaign tactic. i don't see it working but it'll be interesting. |

Yes, it's a story when the GOP is trying so hard to keep a candidate from opening her mouth and imploding her campaign, that she's not allowed to speak in public. On the issues. You know, like Angle believing and stating that if a child is raped by their father, and gets pregnant, it's god's will to force the child to have that child. That belief gives me cold chills. |

during the same period early in their administrations bush sr. had 1, clinton had 2, bush, jr. had 1. 1+2+1=4. hey! same as the last 3 presidents combined! my source is fox. want the link? feel free to post another of your suppressed sex fantasies in response. |
Growing up when Reagan was in office, I thought press conferences were routinely held by the president, but as others point out here, apparently most presidents have comparatively fewer of them.
Reagan had many of them. Now with the internet and even the president having his own website, maybe they're not as necessary as in the 1980's. |

At least Rand Paul took a deep breath, and is back out there in public after his first media disaster, debating with Jack Conway. The sad thing is, I think Rand is more articulate and thoughtful - and secure in his political views - than Conway, but I can't vote for Paul's politics in the least. |
