British Open

26.32 Win Ernie Els 18-1
23.68 Win Justin Rose 20-1

That's a nice price on Westwood. . . Especially after today. He'll definitely be in contention down the stretch. You just have to hope he doesn't hang.

I think I'd bet Camillo now that he's in contention after the first round. If the weather gets bad, he can handle it w/ that stinger he hits.

jms62 07-15-2010 02:10 PM

Only problem is Tiger as Tom Durkin would say "He is looming"

Yup. . .

That could really ruin my weekend.

I like your bet choices and probably would have gone the same way- but while I realize he's only 21 and it's very difficult to go wire to wire, McIlroy may just blitz this. Wow what a performance. I figure unless the weather goes haywire 15 under will get it done which means McIlroy needs 70-70-70... and his competitive rounds at St. Andrews? 69, 69, 67, 68, 67, 68, 65, 69, 63. Amazing.

"..because of my kids."

"..So I could be with my kids."

"..for my kids."

How do you go from on-the-side fkn to (instead) wanting to host Romper Room? Does he really think people believe this sht he's saying? He really thinks, if he puts that serious bullshit face on, then people will believe whatever he says.

They suspend play because of too much wind??? WTF is that??? It's a ****ing Links course.

yes and yes

Look for The Mechanic over the weekend scuds to hang around and maybe pick up the pieces

I feel like Westwood really missed a great opportunity yesterday morning when the conditions where ripe for scoring.

TOTAL MUSH! :o

He's playing well today- 4 under through 15. At least until I hit "Submit" on this post.

What does everyone expect Oosthuizen to do today? I wouldn't be surprised if it's a total implosion.

I don't think anybody's hitting the ball better than him. He has missed so many putts.

It wasn't THAT exciting Kev.....

When Daly played well last week I thought he might make it fun but John couldn't make a putt if the hole was a foot in diameter....the rest were both unlucky and bad. Except the oooo factor of course

The winner was beyond impressive. His swing never wavered. Tempo was unreal all day.

Paul Casey played like a vagina with saggy beef flaps.

Surely it didn't surprise you? Didn't appear that he waited and let Louis have his walk up the 18th by himself. I could be wrong, but if he didn't, it would surprise me as a typical d*ck move by him.

that's a beauty of an avatar,Kev!:)
