Going into last week:

Had won 66 out of 320 races - for a 20.6% win percentage and an impossible $2.85 ROI.

Last week:

7-for-40 - $3.70 ROI

The two winners breaking from the rail post on Friday both paid over $40. The two winners on Saturday from the rail paid $26.40 and $15.80 .. the one that paid $15.80 was part of a coupled entry and would have paid even more if uncoupled.

You did have only one day last week where six consecutive races were won in wire-to-wire fashion. So the speed biased nature isn't showing itself quite like it has been at other periods.

are there any you throw out, or do you use em all no matter what?

randallscott35 07-12-2010 06:14 PM

I'm guessing you didn't bet them as the 5$ to win would surely get you under 2.00 ROI at that track.

The Indomitable DrugS 07-12-2010 06:15 PM

I show a strong bias towards speed horses and towards horses drawn inside with my handicapping ... and I show a bias against horses drawn wide - and don't have the ability to get inside.

It's a little frustrating because a few certain jocks will come off the rail - or won't use their speed like they should.

While an Arienne Cox can have the 11 hole and she'll go Calvin Borel and be on the rail in no time and refuse to come off of it.

My best success has come with horses breaking from the middle with no speed to their inside and an agressive jock up. I've had a few 15/1 and 20/1 top pick winners that way. I haven't had any of the bombs on top who've won from post 1 .. but I've had a sickeningly high number of the logical speeds who've won from the rail at a short price.

Speaking of Arienne Cox ... she might be the jockey with the most interesting myspace page in the country. Her boyfriend is the brother of Linda Rice.

Here is her myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/104555680

The best part of it ....

Who I'd like to meet:
I am interested in meeting exceptional individuals. I am fit, sexy, talented and intelligent, I expect you to be also. I am not interested in single men unless they are exceptional, as I am in a committed relationship with a open minded man. I like to travel, party on the boat, play with sexy women and I generally appreciate great bodies.....
It's got to be good to know that your girlfriend put on her myspace page that she's only willing to cuckold you with "exceptional" men.

Doug what you should do is find an offshore that will take limited action on the place and thus not **** with the pools.

Holy ****... that girl would KILL you Doug. I suggest you keep your distance even if the sock might feel otherwise.

By the way... on topic, any logical explanation of why the rail is so good? Is it the Tapeta? Watering/tilling schedule?

I think it's an 8/5 favorite she's about to strap one on and bang Linda's brother in his dilated dirt ring.....

This one titled "fun in the sun" looks a little interesting ...

Ah yeah ....

I give her props anyway .... she rides with more balls than any rider at PID. Male or female.

What do you think of the firster Guns N Glory in the third tomorrow?

Longest shot on the ML (8-1), with a few good works, a fairly big sale price given the sire, and a decent pedigree for 2yo success.
He's breaking from the #1, and the two in the race who have run before haven't shown any speed.

Is this % all based on one-turn races or does it hold for two turns also?

That horse worked 33.80 unblinkered at OBS April. I picked it 3rd. I picked the Lynn Scace debuter on top .. the dam of that horse romped in her debut and it's been working well here.

I'd hit it.

I just wonder if I'm exceptional and all.

Indian Charlie 07-12-2010 11:13 PM

Special, perhaps.

citycat 07-13-2010 12:31 AM

Hope my filly can make it to the rail in the third

letswastemoney 07-13-2010 02:21 AM
