What is so classic is how fair weather White Sox fans are. I specifically recall a conversation the last week in May between two Sox's fans, not wearing any White Sox clothing, talking about how bad they are and not going to any games and yadda yadda and then all of a sudden last weekend, the same two Sox fans were wearing Sox clothing and talking World Series.

At least Cubs fans are just miserable but still wear the gear when they are retarded.

Hey, just saying, the White Sox were in a pretty similar position last year at this time and how did that go for them?

Obviously there is a long way to go, but you can't deny they are the hottest team in baseball and the turn around is pretty amazing. I think you are a Tiger's fan (?) so the skepticism...denial;)..is understanding. Should be a good second half, but if the Sox keep pitching like they have been, I like their chances.

You are correct in that I'm a Tigers fan. That being said, I think the Twins are the bigger worry for either the Sox or the Tigers. Have you seen their schedule coming down the stretch? As long as Mauer and Morneau are walking, that team is going to win 85+ games.

I was very glad to see Cliff Lee go to Texas. Sox and Twins still have 14 games I think against each other so that will help Detroit as well.

I believe the Tigers have a stretch coming up after the All-Star game where they are playing 30 straight games against teams over .500.

You're in big trouble.

But losing to better isn't everything.

Imagine where the White Sox would be if they weren't the only team in MLB unable to beat the poor Indians. 4-8 against them.

Don't hiccup and let the Tigers or Twins by because they are 4.5 out of the Wild Card. You gotta win it to be in it.

I'm not counting any chickens in any way, but just am glad they won 25 out of 30 and somehow have the division lead at the break.

3 games back and 7 out of the wild card.

Do you regret starting this thread and mushing your team?

Reaks of desperation.

Yeah right, a team that is 7 1/2 out of the wildcard is dropping him and a team 9 1/2 out is going to pick him up.
Strong move.....I think not.
