“Going back to Churchill Downs is far, far better than Santa Anita. First and foremost, (Churchill) is not a synthetic (track). It’s on the East Coast,” said Hayward.”

no, it's not.
but i do agree churchill is a better site! nyra needs to get their act together before the bc will choose them for a bc.

NYRA needs the money OTB owes them and a committment from the state to support racing financially till NYRA can formulate a plan that doesnt count on VLT dollars which appear years and years away from materializing.

i agree churchill is better....but NYRA get its act together as opposed to california. yeah, they are really doing well out there. get ready for every wednesday to be cancelled again....lol. the BC people should get their act together...then again, i'm kind of hoping it goes away for the sake of horse racing.
