MSW at CD 7/2 R11- some interesting runners

#2 GRAND GIFT: Half to DUNKIRK by Ghostzapper out of Secret Status. Working well for debut for Romans.
#4 PISTOLS AT DAWN: Half to ANAK NAKAL... a millionaire despite winning only 3 races (unlike most trainers these days, Zito understands you can have a good career running 2nd/3rd/4th and cashing checks.) Margolis/Peachtree.
#13 JAGUAR PAW: first runner out of nice sprinter Molto Vita, who finished 2nd in the Humana Distaff when Madcap Escapade inexplicably stopped at 1/5.
#15 EMPIRE SHOES: half to stakes winners PROM SHOES and WILDCAT SHOES. Has run twice, well beaten 2nd last out.

Romans won the 5th with the first debut winner by Ghostzapper. Can he win two on one card with firsters by previously 0 for 50 something Ghostzapper?

Those are some interesting runners.

Terrible betting race. The only thing missing is a juicer running a horse off a long layoff.

The rail was DEAD (Quick Sand) that day and it also cost Afleet Alex the Triple Crown.

Depends on your definition of a good betting race.

I like races like this more than any others, because you can make a case for and against a lot of different runners.
