Oh, okay … thought you were talking about QR for a sec…

Indian Charlie 06-29-2010 12:09 PM

I can see how you made that mistake.

After all, he's only had ten starts to date.

I wonder how many Zenyatta had at this point in her career?

4? maybe 5?

Smooth Operator 06-29-2010 12:17 PM

Whitney will be QR's second start in six months

A true iron horse…

You talking a lot of s.hit about another horse's schedule = irony at its best.

"Schedule"???

Mineshaft had a schedule

QR just seems to show up somewhere every three or four months…

Sure hope that a 4yo colt could handle a 6yo mare

Would be pretty embarrassing if he couldn't…

Stop... Just stop.
Seriously its not Zenyattas fault, but why the hell is she not coming for the Whitney? Prove she is the best... QR and Blame are going, and even D Wayne is sending MTB. Come for the race, Z comes, then maybe you get Rachel and if not, even if Z gets beat and Rachel dodges the connections still look good. I was a Z defender for a long time but Im getting sick of this shitty schedule they insist on keeping. Even if Z runs second I think that still says a ton, I think she would be a lock for at least second, I think shes easily better then Blame and MTB and even Rachel if she shows up. What is wrong with a solid second to the best horse in the world right now?

Well Pletcher is hard to beat period when he is in one those streaks of his, still QR has not destroyed anyone at 1 1/4, I know you didn't quantify a distance but I thought I would be more specific given they are most likely to meet in the Classic if at all.

Holy **** this QR not getting 10f is getting so old. He was off a sprint prep in the Travers, A SPRINT....A sprint prep off an injury and layoff, a SPRINT PREP WHERE HE RAN HUGE AND ALMOST SET A TRACK RECORD.
What was wrong with his JCGC, 3rd back off an injury? Who says he cant get 10f? Who?

Time will tell on Quality Miler. He's a good horse but with his grossly inflated rep I wouldn't want to be in his shoes. Anything less than an impressive win in the Classic, coupled with a flashy beyer will be considered a negative considering how admired he is here.

Do what I do, just play the Travers and the JCGC from 09 and have it on infinite replay to slap some sense into yourself to see how wonderful he truly is.

It's 100% factual so I don't understand why you would term it as trash. Did you watch those races? Was he super duper impressive as you just coined him?

Let me help you, no. He was good at 1 1/4 in 09 not great, or even very good for that matter. Summer Bird handled him pretty easy.

Its one thing to watch the race and come out of it with a shitty conclusion, LIKE YOURS...Its another thing to understand the entire story. Why should he have been ready to fire a huge shot in the Travers? He was coming off an injury, a layoff and a RECORD SETTING PERFORMANCE, where he beat a horse who came right back to cross the wire first in a Grade 1. So he bounces a bit in the Travers, ok fine... What was wrong with his JCGC, what about that race says he cant go 10f? Its so comical, first it was horse for course at Gulfstream, I never understood that... He broke his maiden in a huge fashion at Aqueduct, then he won for fun at Gulf and won for fun at Toga and ran huge at Belmont, but people still said horse for course... Just stop, even you know QR would beat her, you just cant admit it. What is the reasson for not being in the Whitney?
