Time will tell on Quality Miler. He's a good horse but with his grossly inflated rep I wouldn't want to be in his shoes. Anything less than an impressive win in the Classic, coupled with a flashy beyer will be considered a negative considering how admired he is here.

Do what I do, just play the Travers and the JCGC from 09 and have it on infinite replay to slap some sense into yourself to see how wonderful he truly is.

Its one thing to watch the race and come out of it with a shitty conclusion, LIKE YOURS...Its another thing to understand the entire story. He was coming off an injury, a layoff and a RECORD SETTING PERFORMANCE, where he beat a horse who came right back to cross the wire first in a Grade 1. So he bounces a bit in the Travers, ok fine... What was wrong with his JCGC, what about that race says he cant go 10f? Its so comical, first it was horse for course at Gulfstream, I never understood that... He broke his maiden in a huge fashion at Aqueduct, then he won for fun at Gulf and won for fun at Toga and ran huge at Belmont, but people still said horse for course...
