Advanced Wagering at Belmont (Pick 4)...

I understand that in Pick 4 at NYRA that a Late Scratch results in the first leg of a Pick 4 Ticket Holder getting the post time favorite... Is that the same rule for an Early Scratch (e.g., yesterday's guaranteed pick 4 (the #2))?

Advanced Wagered on Friday, went away this weekend and found out the ADW indicated there was no refunds and the ticket holder was given the post time favorite by Belmont? Seems inconsistent with the rule defined by Belmont as they specifically only have the requirement for a late scratch...

Rock,

Will check with Pat Mahoney at NYRA Mutuel Department and/or NYS RWB. It's a great question.. I'll guess the rule for receiving post time fave for late SCR's will apply to early SCR's in advance wagering as well, but will get a definitive answer for you.
