Lock city

Just put EVERY penny you have on this pick three

1/2/5 Starting in Race 9 on Saturday at Toga

Bin Suroor's two horses/Henny Hughes/Bern

It might pay $10 per $1, so make sure you have it for $100

I REALLY like how Toga changed up their wagering to how their late pick four is all stakes races (and not that bootleg last race). I was kinda pissed I would have to play HH/Bern/two horses and now I can play it 2 horses/HH/Bern, or even 5 horses/HH/Bern

THANK YOU NYRA

I take this back about Bin Suroor's horses, might have to go three deep in this race now, Ashkal Way is 0-2=x, which I am a big believer in so might be tossing, and throwing out the overplayed Gomez is always a good thing...More to come on this later on

Race 9 might be one of those 3 or 4 deep races??

Very Hard to say who wins it

Race 10 is the LOCK!!! 2 Henny Hughes ML 9/5

If you want a nice hit play Ex and Tri in this Race The 2 with Court Folly,Star Dabbler, Mach Ride all will be higher than 5/1 (Songster is gonna be spent after the duel and will fall hard)

Gonna get a

Even Money
6/1
10/1 or higher

WHAT A GREAT DAY SAT!!!!

I'd hate to see anyone take a short number tommorow on Henny Hughes. Yeah, he's nice and he's the most likely winner, but he's got a lot of knocks in here due to pace, post and field size. This thing is going to go 21. 3/5 and 44. 2/5 at it's slowest and he's inside to what I think are 3 or 4 early-faster horses. From a middle or outside post, he deserves to be even or 4-5. From down inside, not for me. I'm llikng Mach Ride who had to run up hard after missing the break just a bit from the rail in the Carry Back. He held on real hard against the bias and his preferred style to miss by just 2 lengths to Too Much Bling who would be 2nd or 3rd choice in this.

What a bias that was that day.I'm sure Calder is proud.

I'll pass on your comments to the right people. Maybe they'll send you a hat, or a cookie.

Calder's certainly running a better meet than Del MAr. How the hell people bet $15 mil into those p.o.s. cards they're putting up is beyond me.

Can't say that I like Henny Hughes to win this race. Draws inside, lots of pace to test him, and 7f is a tough distance for a horse who hasnt had much in the way of recency.

I lam thinking its going to set up for closers, 4)Court Folly & 8) Lewis Michael.

Ex Box 4/8

Tri 4/8 w 4/8 w All

Bet Del Mar very sparingly, and almost never play Calder, or Saratoga. The grown up tracks will open back up eventually.Probably that Churchill meet later on this year would be my best meet. For me,it's the best.Much more info. on the table than in most meets.

Henny Hughes ruined me last Travers Day. I wont let that happen again.

SCUDSBROTHER 08-24-2006 03:10 PM

Track looks dead.Kimmel horse came from a Gazillion back in the 6th just a few minutes ago. They seem to be running on beach sand that is dyed brown.

BTW,Calder is the hangin' mole of thoroughbred racing.

Like your analysis but I HIGHLY doubt Lewis Michael is showing up here, they get to run closer to home for the same purse, will be 2/1 2nd favorite instead of 10/1 at Toga. From all accounts around here, I have heard he is running at Fairmount

I'll need to check with the neighbor kid on what that means. He should know, he's 5 years old.

eurobounce 08-24-2006 03:36 PM

There are no locks in horse racing especially at Saratoga.

Scav 08-26-2006 04:56 PM

Be glad you didn't play this, it would be a disgrace to cash a pick three that is going to pay $3.80 on $1...UNBELIEVABLE
