Rosie Napravnik Hurt In Delaware 9th

Rosie apparently was thrown from her mount at the start of the late allowance feature this afternoon and taken by stretcher off the track. A great young jock who aways has time for fans of the game. Hopefully her injuries are manageable. The track crew was excellent protecting her.

Was watching on TV. Rosie hit the ground pretty hard and the horse may have rolled over her. Defintiely some anxious moments as the field approached the far turn while emergency personnel were able to safely move Rosie via stretcher. Hope she is OK.

Watching the replay closely I don't think the horse rolled over on her but the potential for neck injury is worry some as she did a somersault over the horse taking impact in her neck and head when she hit the ground. It would be great to hear follow up from someone in Delaware if possible.

Hope Rosie is OK. She's a great young rider and a terrific ambassador for the game.

Sorry to hear about this. Rosie is a great rider and hopefully she's ok. I'm thinking positive and will be sending that energy her way.

I think they should have stopped the race as it wasn't fair. I had the 10-1 so I'm not bitter but I don't think that was the best horse that won the race.

The best horse won that race and won easily. Dutrow was a 3yo against older. The 6 was a multiple winner that shoulda gotten through that condition long ago. That was a very big trainer switch going from oneill to gorham. I'm sure the horse benefitted. The only other live horse in that race was united states who's a phoney crow that they over paid for. He got away soft at gsp w a field of slugs and ran off.

The 6 is a multiple winner against true 1x. 7 time winner. He figured to be forward and was a ridiculous overlay at 10-1.

It looked like arn got out if the way of her mount. Hopefully she's fine I like how she rides.

Good news for Rosie.

(UPDATE: Agent Mark Mace told the Paulick Report Wednesday that X rays and a CAT scan both "came back clean" and that he expects Rosie Napravnik to return to the saddle this Saturday.)

Great to hear, Dave. Got the chance to watch her this winter at the Big A and she is a terrific rider. Wish her a speedy recovery.
