Twirling Candy

Very impressive. One to be watched later this year

Not an uninteresting female family there. He's got a 2yo full sister.

Do you happen to know the name of that 2yo?

Dulcito. She's out of a daughter of Chester House which is always cool and means she's got Toussaud in there, then tail female we've got Crownette (the dam of Chocolate Candy) who's by Seattle Slew out of a half-sister to Affirmed by Alydar. Then she's inbred to Natalma.

Difficult horse to ride. Excellent job by Ragiv Maragh.

Obviously something was amiss. She seemed OK after the race.

I was happy Thomas Baines caught 2nd.

I had gone into the OTB to specifically wager the Hollywood 9th.

I've watched Thomas Baines before, but was not locked and loaded on an 8th race wager today.

When I saw him drop from a 4-1 ML to even money in the first few clicks I decided to toss some solid place (as opposed to "salad plates") money on him.

The place profit paid for my loss in the Hollywood 9th.

I had pretty nice exacta and quinella wagers on Tuscan Evening with Tale of The Cat.

Looked good until the end.

I love when people start a thread with such a chock full of information post.

Is that a trick question?

Is the answer John Sheriffs?

Sorry just wanted to briefly mention a horse that looked nice yesterday. I know we are not all as insightful as you.

Look, all I'm saying is it would be nice to say at least what track and day he ran at and on.

Just saying a horse name says nothing to anyone that didn't see the race and doesn't know anything about where the horse ran.

I do enjoy hearing about impressive lightly raced horses from people here, but if you don't give more information, it makes it a big chore to find out about the horse.

I'm hoping we devolve into guttural ughs for threads. It would be far more interesting than this s.hit.
