Blind Luck Work
 

If the June 26 Mother Goose is Blind Luck's next race, it seems strange that the horse would work 8 days after her Kentucky Oaks victory (4 furlongs in 47 4/5). Unless it is normal for Hollendorder to work a horse 8 days after a race.

The fact that she worked was met with dropped jaws yesterday at HOL.

Maybe she was tearing down the barn. Sometimes its safer to work them

Thirty years ago this wouldn't have raised an eyebrow. Or maybe even 20 years. Horses used to blow out 3f the day before a race, and would be back working within a week. Even after they started using bute and lasix in the 70s/early 80s.
