Satish gave out the Derby tri

on your show Friday, as he had the 2,4,10 to hit a big Oaks/Derby Double, if i remember correctly. Very nice picks.

Steve needs some intro music/theme song for Satish. Let me be the first to suggest Cornershop's Brimful of Asha.

How 'bout a little ol tune by the MC5....Kick out the Jams M F ?

pgiaco 05-02-2010 01:56 PM

I hope he cashed so many tickets he has to go into hiding, then I never have to hear him again.

Another example of the rich getting richer

I believe Satish said that he played $1000. Dbl's. Nice hit but if he also had the horse that got beat by a nose in the Oaks.

MISTERGEE 05-02-2010 07:36 PM

darn only $1000 doubles, geez that must suck

He certainly did... Satish called me a little while after the race and was hopeful that some jumped aboard. He was pretty tickled that he nailed it the way he did. For those that missed it, he specifically tabbed Super Saver as the likely winner and added that Ice Box/Paddy O'Prado would be 'right there'.

Funny you suggest Brimful Coach... On the drive out to KY, it was one of about 8 songs I heard that I wrote down as possible additions to the ATR rotation.

Once it was clear that Bill Farish wasn't going to admonish him for his selections and there would be no retraction 24 hours later, I was all over it.

If any of your listeners are actually following Satish's handicapping advice, Steve, could you please get their contact information. Surely there is a bridge or twelve we can sell them.

His "give-outs" were never like this. Guess everyone deserves a score. He is still the best interview on satellite radio.

jballscalls 05-03-2010 12:15 PM

Don Stevens from Delta Downs gave out the Tri for his picks, he went 2/10/4

:)

you must never listen to Riley Martin

MISTERGEE 05-03-2010 01:44 PM

more importantly with Satish is not his handicapping but that he is willing to bet with both fists bigtime unlike the other "bluebloods" who scoff at betting and bettors in general and are either too stupid or too high and mighty to realize that betting is what makes their sport go round.

pgiaco 05-03-2010 02:36 PM

Paul.. Is that nice?

No, it's not.....but I hear fingernails on a blackboard when I listen to Satish. I can't stand to hear how we need to be like Australia and how we need to only run "high class" races....enough. Plus if he keeps saying that everyplace but Santa Anita has problems hosting the Breeders Cup I might blow an aneurysm.
