Tale of two rides

Borel gave the perfect ride. Hugged the rail, avoided traffic and won with confidence. Lezcano ran into traffic on the turn, stopped cold, shifted wide but still re-rallied. Desourmaux also ran into trouble too but still finished third.

Sorry, that spot has been reserved for Jackson Bend.

Better idea: he can match race Loup Breton.

Jackson Bend probably suited for a mile.

Lezcano gave the Borel ride that many declared Borel a genius for on Street Sense and MTB. The only difference is that Lezcano wasn't lucky enough to have no traffic in his path on the rail, otherwise he wins. It is for this reason the patented Borel ride will produce much more losers than winners.

he was not winning but Jackson Bend had to take up big time while making his move, it probably wont get much press but yea that horse can win at a mile or so top class.

No. He got dragged along the length of the (backstretch and) stretch and couldn't surge enough to win when he got clear. (Which is how he won that race that so impressed some people.) The reason he ran well is because he had the trouble. If he has a clear run and has to put a stretch long run in, like the 2 and the 3, he's cooked.
