Off Track possible

IF the track is off/wet/slop on Sat who are some of the horses we should look at?

I know Backtalk and Super Saver have won in it but who else is out there that actually likes it?

Backtalk may have won on a sloppy track, but the minor problem that he has is no matter how good he may be on a wet track you actually have to have a little bit of talent to be competitive in here, and that's something Backtalk doesn't have.

I know he's a longshot, but if the track comes up really wet I would have to give Mine That Bird a serious look. Borel knows what he's doing at CD, and I can really see him coming from way back with a rail-skimming trip and flying at the finish.

Pioneerof The Nile should also run well. And give some thought to Musket Man.

Glad to hear Kentuckyderby.com brought you back to blog. Your insight was missed.

Friesan Fire dominated the Louisiana Derby in the slop. He should love the off-track in the Derby.

Rachel Alexandra would likely win the Derby if entered.

:)

If its a off track....
Im playing a triple of 8-13-6 [super add the 11 ]

If the track is fast

I like the 18 - 3 - 7 [ super add the 2, 10, 12 to cover a few bases ]

good luck !

They told me they took the site in the proverbial "different direction". And I suppose the direction they are hoping for involves less traffic and zero fan interaction.

Plus I think my demand of $30,000 for two blog posts per week from January to May was steep. So I decided to settle for TVG's offer of a $50 Derby future wager on Homeboykris at 10-1. It sounded like a solid compromise. Although who would have thought I could play him Derby Day at 5 times the price? Certainly not me.

I was kind of being sarcastic because I thought your post was a poor attempt at humor, but I do think it sucks they went away from fan interaction/blog posting because quite frankly Asher et al are pretty dry and toe the company line.

I prefer Go for Gin who appears to be a slop freak.

Depends on what time High Tide is..

That is one factor that is not an issue for me as all have good to great off track breeding according to Tomlinson numbers.

Discreetly Mine is from a wet track family. Throw out his bad trip at Gulfstream. Pretty Discreet won the Alabama on an off track.
